Melted iron
Melted iron in continuous casting
GG-25 pearlitic: pearlitic-ferritic cast sheet DIN 1691 GG-25
Quality of medium hardness (180-220 HB) desirable for applications where a balance is needed between the mechanical characteristics and ease of machining.
Nodular GGG-50: pearlitic-ferritic nodular cast iron DIN 1693 GGG-50/7
With pearlitic-ferritic structure, has a higher wear resistance and a higher hardness (180-230 HB) to other qualities. Is recommended for applications where good machinability and surface finish are required in addition to that there is friction with other parts and / or materials.
